Battery Electric Vehicle Assistance
Your battery electric vehicle provides information about range and distance to empty. It is equipped with multiple alerts to let you know when your battery is running low. But every once in a while, life happens, and we are here to help. If you need help to get your vehicle to the nearest charging station, Ford EV Roadside Assistance has you covered.
If your Ford electric vehicle’s battery runs out of charge anytime during the first five years or 60,000 miles of ownership, we can tow you and your vehicle to one of three locations of your choosing within 50 miles of your vehicle location:
- Nearest public charger
- Your home residence (assuming you have a way to charge at home)
- Ford EV-certified dealer
If you’re more than 50 miles from your home, you will be towed to the nearest public charger or Ford EV-certified dealer.

Get your cash back
If you paid for a tow without knowing you were covered with Ford Roadside Assistance, we'll reimburse you up to $140 per occurrence.
Lock-out Assistance
We will unlock your vehicle if you are locked out.
12V Battery Jump Start
We will jump-start your vehicle if your 12V starter battery loses its charge. And if we're unable to jump your battery, we'll tow your vehicle to the nearest Ford Dealership.
