What information does Ford share with Duke Energy?
Ford and Duke Energy share the following information:
Personal Information
- Name
- Mobile phone number
- Home address
- Utility account number
- Utility account holder name (if provided)
Vehicle Information
- Vehicle make/model
- Battery size
- In-vehicle charger capacity
Per Session Charging Data
- Plug-in/unplug date and time
- Charge start/end date and time
- Scheduled charge start date and time
- Energy consumed per charge session
- Starting/ending state-of-charge
- Demand response event override date and time
- Charging rate during the charge session
What Ford vehicles are eligible for the EV Complete Home Charging Plan?
Ford plug-in vehicles model year 2021 or later are eligible to participate.
The vehicle must have an authorized modem in FordPass™*.
What incentives are Duke Energy offering?
Duke Energy is offering the following incentives to Ford EV owners:
- Selected Duke Energy Carolinas (DEC) customers pay a fixed monthly rate of $19.99 (plus tax and certain fees) for home charging for one year (Nov. 1, 2023 to Dec. 1, 2024).
- Selected Duke Energy Progress (DEP) customers pay a fixed monthly rate of $24.99 (plus tax and certain fees) for home charging for one year (Nov. 1, 2023 to Dec. 1, 2024).
The Home Charging Plan fee will show up as a line item on your monthly utility bill from Duke Energy, starting with your December 2023 bill.
