Once you have selected a data sharing policy, EV Routing in Apple Maps is enabled. Now, when you create new map routes via Apple CarPlay, it will display:

  • The estimated battery charge of the vehicle at the end of shorter trips.
  • The number and location of charging stations you will need to stop at for longer trips.

Note: For trips with multiple charging stops required, your vehicle's estimated battery charge will display but only on your Apple device.
