8:00 AM
Meet at Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA)
Participants will gather at the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area outside Shamokin, Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity for everyone to meet fellow Ford owners, connect with the Ford Off-Road team, and get an overview of the adventure ahead. During this time the team will conduct vehicle inspections and a general equipment check to ensure everyone is properly prepared for the day’s trail activities. Coffee and light snacks will be available as the group gathers for introductions and orientation.
9:00 AM
Safety Briefing and Trail Departure
Following the morning orientation, the Ford Off-Road team will lead a comprehensive safety briefing. Once complete, the group will depart the staging area and head into the deep forests and rugged terrain of Pennsylvania’s coal region. Along the way, participants will learn more about the features and capabilities of their Ford vehicles while navigating a variety of trail conditions including forest roads, rocky terrain, mud sections, and elevation changes. Expert guides will provide instruction and support throughout the day.
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Trailside Lunch Break
The group will stop at a scenic location along the trail system to enjoy lunch. Participants should plan to bring their own lunch and beverages for this break as meals will not be provided during the trail ride portion of the day.
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Return to Staging Area
By late afternoon the group will return from the trail system to the AOAA staging area. This allows time for participants to relax, reflect on the day’s experience, and prepare for the evening gathering.
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Group Dinner at a Local Restaurant
Participants will reconvene for dinner at a nearby local restaurant. This relaxed evening gathering gives everyone the opportunity to share stories from the trail, discuss what they learned about their vehicles, and connect with fellow participants and guides while previewing the next day’s adventure.
8:00 AM
Morning Gathering at AOAA
The group will once again meet at the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area. This morning meet up provides time to reconnect with the guide team; review lessons learned from the previous day and prepare vehicles for another day of exploration through this vast off-road park.
9:00 AM
Trail Departure
After a brief overview of the day’s objectives, the group will depart for the trails. Day two will explore different areas of the park, showcasing additional terrain and trail features that make AOAA one of the premier off-road destinations in the region. Participants will continue building their driving confidence as they navigate varied terrain under the guidance of the Ford Off-Road team.
12:00 PM
Trailside Lunch Break
Midday the group will stop along the trail system for lunch. As with the first day, participants should bring their own lunch and refreshments to enjoy during this break.
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Return, Farewell and Departure
The group will return to the staging area in the late afternoon where the adventure will conclude. This final gathering allows participants to exchange stories, share contact information, and say their goodbyes after two memorable days exploring the rugged coal country trails of Pennsylvania.

Know Before You Go
Required
- Bring your own Ford vehicle (Bronco®, Bronco Raptor, Ranger Raptor)
- Full-size spare tire
- Front and rear tow hooks or tow points
- All vehicles must be street legal, registered, and have proof of insurance
- If your vehicle is equipped with a winch, be sure to bring the winch controller and any related recovery gear with you
Recommended
- A recovery strap with looped ends is recommended. Recovery straps with metal hooks are not allowed
- Air compressor or tire inflation device
- Remove any low-hanging running boards with side steps as they reduce your vehicles ground clearance and have the potential to be damaged
- We recommend outfitting your vehicle with a GMRS radio (like a Midland). Handheld units will be provided to all registered guests without a radio

Only qualified Ford SUVs may attend the Ford Off-Road Adventure.

Trip payment allows the attendee and their guest (if selected) to enjoy expertly guided overland experiences in some of the most beautiful natural vistas in America. Daily lessons will cover such topics as route planning, camp set-up, and good stewardship practices. Select meals dependent upon trip.

Though incredibly rare, occasionally, a Ford Off-Road Adventure may have to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. All trips, events, and trails are subject to change or cancellation without advance notice.
