Ford® Driver-Assist Technologies | Driving Confidence & Convenience

It’s Navigating the Road Ahead.

We want to make your daily commute a little bit less of a grind by helping steer you where you need (or don’t) need to be. The redesigned 2019 Edge will be the first Ford to offer these features.

Adaptive Cruise Control With Lane Centering

Available adaptive cruise control takes conventional cruise control to a different level. Lane centering detects the lane markings to help you keep your vehicle centered in the lane.10

Evasive Steering Assist

Available evasive steering assist can help you avoid the unpredictability of what’s ahead by helping you avoid a collision with a slower or stopped vehicle in front of your vehicle. It provides steering support if the collision cannot be avoided by braking alone.10

*Evasive steering assist does not control steering.

It’s Everything You Can’t Do Without.

First a smartphone, then a smart home, now the next must-have device is your vehicle. And we’re leading the way by offering technology that’s essential to your everyday life.

It’s What Keeps You in Command.

This is what it’s like to have an extra set of eyes so you can get the job done. Whether you’re maneuvering through traffic, or backing your trailer into a tight spot, consider us your built-in copilot.
