BUILT FORD TOUGH® AND TESTED

A truck made for adventure needs to last, so engineers at Ford put the Maverick® truck through its paces.

Pushed and punished over 19 million real and simulated miles in the harshest conditions in North America, this pickup was challenged by max trailering up steep grades in West Virginia and North Carolina. It went to great heights — 14,000 feet to be exact — with an altitude test at Pikes Peak, Colorado. It also braved the 120° heat of Arizona and the –40° cold of Manitoba, Canada.

North or south, high or low, hot or cold — it proved its reliability and versatility. So, when you sit in the driver’s seat of a 2023 Ford Maverick®, you can be sure it’s as tough as you are.

TECHNOLOGIES THAT DRIVE CONFIDENCE

Available driver-assist features from Ford Co-PIlot360 can help you feel more connected behind the wheel of your Maverick® pickup.

PRE-COLLISION ASSIST WITH AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking10 and Pedestrian Detection* scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don’t worry — they’ll only activate if needed.
*Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking detects pedestrians, but not in all conditions, and can help avoid or reduce a collision. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.

REAR VIEW CAMERA

Between glancing in the rear view mirror and craning your neck, backing up can be a pain. The Rear View Camera10 makes it easier to get a great view of what’s behind your vehicle. Just make sure to keep the camera lens free of debris like snow or dust and you can reverse with confidence.

BLIS® (BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM) WITH CROSS-TRAFFIC ALERT

How many times have you tensed up changing lanes on a busy freeway? Available BLIS® helps detect and alert you to vehicles in your blind spots,10 while Cross-Traffic Alert can detect traffic behind you when you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway.

LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM

Maybe you’re caught up listening to your favorite podcast or need your morning latte, but you’ve wandered a little on the road. Luckily, the available Lane-Keeping System10,* can help you stay in your lane. This smart feature scans your vehicle’s position and can alert you if you’re starting to drift. Having trouble staying between the lines? You’ll see a coffee cup icon letting you know it’s time to take a break.
*Lane-Keeping System does not control steering.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP-AND-GO AND LANE CENTERING

Few driving situations can feel as tedious as bumper-to-bumper traffic. Enter Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop-and-Go. * ACC is next-level cruise control that can slow your vehicle if traffic ahead has stopped or slowed. When things clear, you’ll resume your set speed.10 The added Lane Centering feature even scans lane markings to help keep your vehicle centered between the lines.
*If stop is longer than three seconds, driver must intervene and press “RES” button or accelerator pedal to resume system operation.

AUTO HIGH-BEAM HEADLAMPS

Dark roads and low-visibility situations don’t have to catch you off guard. Standard Auto High-Beam Headlamps can automatically switch on in poor lighting conditions and dim when they sense oncoming headlights. You won’t have to worry about blinding other drivers, which means you can keep your hands on the wheel and your focus on the drive.10
