How do I activate my included Connectivity Package?
- Open the Ford app
- Follow the steps to connect your vehicle
- Tap Connected Services from your home page
- Tap “Activate Now” under the Ford Connectivity Package tile

What features are included in the Connectivity Package?
Features vary by model and trim but may include:
- Unlimited Wi-Fi® Hotspot (for up to 10 devices)
- Connected Navigation/Google Maps
- Premium Video Streaming
- Audio Streaming
- Alexa or Google Voice Assistant
- Entertainment (Google Play, karaoke, games)
- Video Conferencing
Package pricing, included plan durations, and term lengths also vary by model. Some features may only be available while vehicle is parked.
What is the one-time purchase for the Connectivity Package?
Connectivity Package is available as a one-time purchase for $745, active for 7 years from new vehicle warranty start date. The one-time purchase option is available when ordering your vehicle or at point of sale through your dealer or online at Ford.com.
The one-time purchase option is not available to fleet customers at this time.
If I don’t select the one-time purchase, am I still eligible for an included year?
If the one-time purchase option is not selected at order or point-of-sale, your included trial of the Connectivity Package can still be activated in the Ford app.
Credit card and auto-renew consent are required for activation. Ford Rewards Points can also be redeemed on the purchase.
When the included year ends, the customer will be billed monthly at a rate of $14.99 or annually at a rate of $149.95, based on what the customer selects.
Can I cancel my auto renew or plan?
Included Period: During the included 1 year period, you can opt out of auto-renew at any time.
Annual Plan: If you are paying for the annual plan, you can cancel within 14 days of activation and receive a 100% refund.
After the first 14 days, you may still cancel at anytime, but your purchase will be non-refundable.
One-Time Purchase: If the package was activated as part of a one-time upfront purchase, cancellation is not available.
What happens to my Connectivity Package when I sell my Ford?
The Connectivity Package is tied to your specific Ford vehicle. If you made a one-time upfront purchase, the package stays with the vehicle for 7 years from warranty start date. Included and monthly or annual plans cannot be transferred or applied to any other Ford you own or may purchase.
Upon selling your Ford, we recommend that you perform a master reset, so that your Connectivity Package plan can be cancelled within 14 days.
Does master resetting the vehicle cancel my included or paid plan?
Master resetting your vehicle does not immediately cancel your plan, but the plan will cancel automatically after 14 days if you do not take follow up action. After master reset, if you’d like to keep your plan, you must reauthorize your same VIN’s vehicle modem, to your same Ford account. Note: this does not apply to the one-time purchase plan.
Does removing my VIN from the Ford app cancel my included or paid plan?
Yes. Removing your VIN from the Ford app automatically cancels the Connectivity Package included trial or paid plan. Note: this does not apply to the one-time purchase plan.
