How do I use the Mustang® Track Apps?®

Your quickest acceleration. Your most efficient braking. Capture exhilarating personal bests and much more with Mustang Track Apps^* on a closed track.

How To Use the Mustang Track Apps Feature

To access Track Apps, press the Mustang Pony button on the instrument panel. Or on the touchscreen, you can select Features then MyMustang.

Then press Track Apps and select the performance metric you’d like to see.

Acceleration Timer

Allows you to test your vehicle’s acceleration performance. You can see your acceleration times and personal best for certain speeds and distances.

Brake Performance

Displays your vehicle’s rate of deceleration for a given speed range.

Lap Timer

Gives you the ability to record lap times and personal bests at three separate tracks.

Launch Settings

Allows you to set the RPM for launch control, which maximizes the vehicle’s traction from a standing start.

Drift Brake

If your Mustang coupe or convertible is equipped with Drift Brake, this feature allows you to lock up the rear tires for drift maneuvers.^**

Line Lock

Maintains brake force at the front wheels, allowing the rear wheels to spin with minimal vehicle movement. It’s intended to condition the rear tires to maximize traction prior to drag strip use.^†

Additional Track App Features for Manual Transmission

Shift Indicator

Optimize your performance during shifting. You can select the RPM you want to shift at and be alerted to do so with visual and audible cues.

Launch Control

Temporarily holds the engine RPM at a set point and maximizes traction to the wheels for a more aggressive start.

Rev Match

Provides a smoother driving experience by predicting shifts. And as you shift to a lower gear, it quickly raises the engine RPM to the new gear.^††
