How do I extend the remote start run-time in my Ford?

You can extend the Remote Start run-time using your key fob.

While the vehicle is still running, complete the following steps in less than 3 seconds.

1. Press the Lock button on your key fob to lock all the doors.
2. Press the Remote Start button (2X) on the key twice.

This will extend the run time for another remote start duration. 

Notes:

• You can extend the remote start up to a maximum of 35 minutes.
• Wait at least five seconds before remote starting after you turn off your vehicle.
