What is Phone As A Key™* in FordPass®**?

The Phone As A Key feature allows you to turn your phone into a key fob with the FordPass App and set up a maximum of four keys per vehicle. Your phone must be within Bluetooth®*** Low Energy (BLE) Range (between 30-50 meters). The passive entry range is within two meters.

You will be able to control the following, in addition to your Remote Commands: 

  • Windows Up
  • Windows Down 
  • Horn & Lights
  • Frunk
  • Trunk

Important: It is recommended to always have your key fob present when using the Phone As A Key function.
