How do I reset my Phone As A Key?

You can reset your Phone As A Key^™* settings on your vehicle's SYNC^®** screen using the steps below. 

Note: If you complete a Phone As A Key reset, you will need to set up your key(s) again. 

Resetting Phone As A Key

Important: 

• Ensure that your vehicle is on, running in a well-ventilated area, and it is in Park (P).
• Please keep your physical key fob present before performing a Phone As A Key reset. If you don’t, the reset may erase vehicle access and prevent you from entering or starting the vehicle.

To initiate a Phone As A Key reset, perform the following steps:

1. Safely enter your vehicle.
2. Tap the Settings icon or the Home icon (varies by software version and generation) on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
3. Select General.
4. Scroll down and tap Reset.
5. Tap FordPass Connect Reset.
6. Select Phone As A Key Reset.
7. Tap Continue to remove all Phone As A Key devices.
