Our Greatest Challenge

The Rubicon Trail is our most difficult adventure, designed for advanced off-road drivers. The trails require a Bronco Raptor on 37-inch tires. Drivers up to the task will travel through breathtaking scenery and camp in private land as they conquer the Rubicon.

In the Heart of the High Sierras

Go deep into the heart of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains, where stunning scenery and challenging terrain await. Traverse dramatic rocky landscapes, with pristine mountain lakes and wildlife from bald eagles to bears. Follow in the footsteps of explorers who braved the Rubicon, seeking a clear path across the Sierras.

Dining & Camping Under the Stars

Bring your tent. Our guides provide a swanky dining area, portable bathrooms, and shower at unforgettable campsites. The camp chef will serve up filling meals like a gourmet cowboy burger bar or fajitas. You’ll spend two nights under the open sky.

This adventure requires at least five reservations to depart. A maximum of 12 vehicles can participate.

Moderately demanding. Challenging for novice drivers. Obstacles may include mud holes, boulders, streams, and hill climbs. Requires 4WD and low range.

Skill Level

Advanced

Extremely demanding. Reserved for the toughest off-road trail in the US- the Rubicon Trail. Requires 4WD, low range, lift kit, winch, lockers, and sway bar disconnects. Obstacles become extremely difficult to navigate. Use of spotters and traveling with additional support vehicles is highly recommended. Equipment breakdowns are more probable. Not recommended for stock vehicles or inexperienced drivers.

Common Questions

We realize that unexpected events such as work conflicts, mechanical problems, and illnesses may cause you to cancel your trip. To limit the impact of cancellations on both parties, the following fees shall apply to your refund should you choose to cancel:

Cancel past 24 hours of reservation up to 30 days prior to event	Refunded half of paid total $1,847.50 refund for driver only or $2,897.50 refund for driver and passenger
Cancel within 30 days of the trip	No refunds will be given within 30 days of the trip date
Transfer to a different adventure before the 14 days prior to trip date	You can change to a different trip or date with no penalty fee
Transfer to a different adventure within the 14 days prior to trip date	No transfers are allowed within 14 days of the trip date
Change driver or passenger before the 14 days prior to trip date	You can change to a different eligible driver or passenger with no penalty fee
Change driver or passenger within the 14 days prior to trip date	No driver or passenger changes are allowed within 14 days of the trip date
