2020 Transit

We like to think of the 2020 Ford Transit like a comfortable home on the go. For instance, with available seating for 15,* it’s easier than ever to bring the whole family, and maybe more, along for the ride. Plus, it features a wide array of thoughtful amenities like USB ports in every row, a new audio system with your choice of 4" or available 8" screens and even auto high-beam headlamps that automatically adjust to oncoming traffic. It’s the perfect vehicle for all family adventures.

Accessing your favorite media in Transit is easier than ever with a standard 4" color multifunction touchscreen. Want to go even bigger? Then upgrade to our new available 8" screen for more ease in using media.

We redesigned the exterior of the 2020 Transit in ways that are subtle, but high on functionality. They include an updated front fascia that features three available grille options, redesigned fog lamps for greater visibility and three new available colors. Because it’s one thing to be tough and capable, it’s another to look good doing the task.

The 2020 Transit interior has been designed with convenience and functionality in mind. It includes control buttons for audio, cruise control and more located on the steering wheel. Heavy-duty flooring and scuff plates, and a D-Pillar assist handle make entering and exiting the rear of the vehicle easy. But with redesigned seating materials, comfortable seats and plenty of USB ports, it’s going to be hard to think of a reason to leave.

You might not think of manually turning your high beams on or off every time you need to. That’s why the driver-activated standard Auto High-Beam Headlamps are so helpful — it can do that for you, automatically. When you’re on a dark road with no traffic, the high beams come on. But when a vehicle is approaching with headlamps on or traveling ahead with taillamps visible, the system will dim to low beams to reduce glare.
