Standard rear view camera

Between glancing in the rearview mirror and craning your neck, backing up requires a little multitasking, and it can be more stressful when you’re hauling important cargo. The Rear View Camera makes backing up easier. It isn’t an extra set of eyes, but it does help to provide a great view of what’s behind your 2019 Ford Transit Connect. Just make sure to keep the camera lens free of debris (like snow or dust) and you can navigate Reverse with more confidence.*
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle.

Located in the roof side rail behind the headliner, the side-curtain airbags* deploy downward and outward toward the side-window opening to protect the heads of outboard passengers. It’s triggered independently of the driver and front-passenger airbags by side-impact sensors. Roll-fold technology helps the airbag slide between the glass and occupant as the airbag inflates. The Safety Canopy System will not interfere with properly installed child-safety seats or booster seats and is designed to stay inflated longer for added protection in a rollover.
*Always wear your safety belt and secure children in the rear seat.

Find enhanced control in slick conditions. RSC provides enhanced side-slip control and electronic rollover stability for the vehicle. It utilizes gyroscopic sensors to monitor vehicle roll motion and rate of turning in milliseconds. This helps determine when and how RSC will utilize the brakes to help keep all four wheels of the vehicle firmly planted.39

Available high intensity headlamps

In the Automatic position, the available high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps automatically turn on in low-light situations, or when the wipers are activated. Standard on Titanium and available on XLT.
Standard tire pressure monitoring system

Standard on all Transit Connect Passenger Wagon models, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System monitors air pressure amounts for each tire and will illuminate a warning light on the cluster screen if the pressure in any one of your tires goes below the recommended tire inflation level.*
*Excluding spare.
