      Formidable From Any Angle

      Approach. Brake-over. Departure. Bronco® has the angles that can take on the sharp drops, steep inclines and unexpected off-road encounters.
      Always consult the Owner’s Manual before off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty, and use appropriate safety gear.

      Ground Clearance and Water Fording

      Safely and easily hop over sharp rocks, logs and other unforeseen obstacles. Get all grubby in a muddy bog, then splash through a creek or stream and rinse off.
      Always determine the water depth before attempting a crossing and proceed slowly. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for detailed information regarding driving through water.

      Available Steel Bash Plate Protection

      Guarding critical undercarriage components, available steel bash plates protect the fuel tank, engine/transmission and transfer case shields.

      The HOSS System

      All of the available High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) Systems deliver the kind of confident control and hardy handling Bronco drivers deserve.

      Bronco® Raptor® HOSS 4.0 Suspension System

      Only available on Raptor models. Standard features include:

      • Live Valve technology with position-sensitive damping
      • 3.1 internal bypass semi-active dampers
      • Integrated front reservoirs
      • Remote reservoirs in rear

      HOSS 3.0 Suspension System

      The component upgrades of a true trail champion. A heavy-duty steering rack for 40% gain in maximum load. A rear stabilizer bar and more. Available on Badlands® model. Standard on Stroppe® Edition model. Features in addition to the included Sasquatch Package:

      • Live Valve 3.1 internal bypass semi-active dampers
      • Front steel bash plates
      • Ford Performance severe-duty steering rack and tie rod ends

      HOSS 2.0 Suspension System

      When you’re ready to dial up your adventure, this system is ready to deliver. Standard on Badlands® and Heritage Edition models, and on any model equipped with the Sasquatch® Package.

      • Passive damping system
      • Twin forged alloy A-arms with long-travel HOSS-tuned Bilstein Position-Sensitive Dampers with end-stop control
      • End cap control valves
      • Independent front suspension

      HOSS 1.0 Suspension System

      High-strength, specially tuned hardware calibrated specifically for higher-speed trail running. Standard on Outer Banks® and Base models.

      • Passive damping system
      • Twin forged alloy A-arms with long-travel coil-over springs
      • HOSS-tuned heavy-duty dampers in front and rear
      • 220 mm solid rear axle with long-travel, variable-rate coil-over springs

          Electronic Front- and Rear-Locking Differentials

          Hard-core off-roading calls for some hard-core hardware. With both “lockers” engaged, each wheel spins with the same speed and torque.

          • Dana 44™ AdvanTEK® M220 solid rear differential with Spicer® Performa-TraK electronic locker.
          • Dana™ AdvanTEK® M210 independent front suspension with Spicer® Performa-TraK electronic locker.

          Front Stabilizer Bar Disconnect

          No more crawling underneath with your tools — simply press a button. This design can be disconnected, regardless of articulation. The bar is reconnected automatically at speeds over 20 mph (40 mph on Raptor®). Standard on Badlands® and Raptor® models. Available on the Stroppe Edition.

            Hero Switches

            Conveniently accessible from the dash, engage and disengage your off-road essentials. Including front-locking and rear-locking differential, available Trail Turn Assist and available sway-bar disconnect.

            Steep angles and pitches can make climbing in and out a challenge. Grab handles strategically located on both sides of the center console, as well as both corners of the dash make it easy.
