Building vehicles you can count on is one of our most important jobs, which is why Ford has issued a safety recall for some 2024 model year Mustang vehicles.
The barrel nut which retains the clutch pressure line to a firewall stud may have been missed or improperly installed, allowing the line to contact hot exhaust components and melt, leaking hydraulic fluid. This could lead to a potential loss of power and/or underhood fire.
Dealers will inspect for proper clutch pressure line barrel nut retention and repair as needed. You can book your appointment in the Ford app, online, or by calling an authorized Ford Dealership.
