How do I use media devices with SYNC?

Select a resource in the table below to help you identify your vehicle's SYNC generation.

Using Media Devices with Stored Media 

1. Plug your device into one of your vehicle's USB ports. 

2. Tap Audio on your vehicle's SYNC screen. 

   
3. Select Sources.

4. Choose the USB option. 

   

You can play, pause, or skip tracks on their media device with options that function similar to a traditional CD player.

Using Media Devices with Streaming Media (Pandora, Spotify, etc.)

1. Make sure the media app is up and running on your device. 
2. Press the Voice Command button. 
3. Say, "Bluetooth Audio."
4. Say, "Play."
