Why does my Ford vehicle show the "No Key Detected" message?

When using Phone As A Key™^*, receiving the "No Key Detected" message means your vehicle is not detecting your phone within the interior cabin. 

Troubleshooting the No Key Detected Message 

1. Move your phone closer to the center of the vehicle near the cup holder or armrest area. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 2.
2. Force close the Ford app^** and then reopen it. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 3.
3. Turn your phone's Bluetooth® off and then back on.

Note: If the issue continues, check your key status using the Ford app.
