How do I manage my Preferred Ford Dealer settings in the Ford app?

Using the Service dashboard of the Ford app, you can search for a Ford Dealer and set or change your Preferred Dealer. Doing so allows you to interact with your Dealer about your next service, find directions, access contact information, and view hours of operation. 

Important: A vehicle must be added to your Ford app account before you can set up a Preferred Dealer. 

Choosing or Updating a Preferred Dealer

Your Preferred Dealer will be automatically assigned as your selling dealer. However, this setting can still be modified by following the steps outlined below. 

1. Log in to your Ford app.
2. Select the Service dashboard.
3. Scroll down to the Preferred Dealer section.
4. Choose Find another dealer.
5. Type the City or Postal Code of the preferred dealer in the Search box.
6. Choose the dealer tile that appears in the dropdown.
7. Select Set as Preferred Dealer.
8. Read and Accept or Decline the vehicle health data prompt.
   
   Note: This consent can be changed in the Legal and privacy section of the Member's Ford app account. 

A success check will appear at the bottom of your screen, and your Preferred Dealer will appear on their Service dashboard.
