Who leaves ratings and reviews?
Ratings and reviews are provided by customers who have either purchased a vehicle or visited a dealership for service.
How are ratings and reviews collected?
Customers are invited to participate in a survey administered by MaritzCX, an independent, third-party supplier.
Can dealerships edit or remove reviews?
No. Ford personnel and/or dealership personnel cannot modify or remove reviews.
Are reviews modified or monitored before being published?
MaritzCX moderates public reviews to ensure they contain content that meet Review guidelines, such as:
‣No Profanity or inappropriate defamatory remarks
‣Fraud
‣No Personal Identifying information (e.g., customer phone number or email)
‣No Competitor references (e.g., another brand or dealership)
‣Dangerous behavior (e.g. threatening to harm employees or others)
‣Lack of adequate text (e.g., symbols, emoji’s and random letters)
Reviews on the product and not the customer’s Sales or Service experience
Set up push notifications from the Ford App so you're alerted if someone is tampering with your vehicle. Customize the alerts that are best for you:
Lost or stolen key? Going away for a while? Remotely lock down your vehicle so it can't be started even if someone has an authorized key nearby. Start Inhibit is available on your Ford App home screen so that you can activate at any moment with a simple on-off-slide button.
For extra assurance, when you turn on Start Inhibit, the Ford App also gives you an optional one-time use deactivation PIN, so you can choose whether you turn it back off in the Ford App or by tapping the PIN into the center screen of your vehicle.
Start Inhibit requires SYNC® 4, version 2.1.6.4. '24 or '25 F-150® and Super Duty® trucks currently on a prior SYNC version must update software to version 2.1.6.4 to access Start Inhibit feature.

Step 1 — Call the police.
Your local law enforcement will help you file a report — make note of the police report number and contact information to provide to the Ford Call Center agent.
Step 2 — Call us at 1-866-861-0419
You can call us at this number or through the Ford App. We'll take it from here:
Our Call Center agent will verify the police report with law enforcement.
Our agent will then start tracking your vehicle's location and disable Factory Reset functionality.
You will receive a confirmation email from our agent with a summary of the case details.
Our Call Center will engage police to check for case updates, share updated locations, and request updates on your behalf.
Step 3 — If your vehicle is successfully recovered.
The police will let you know it's been recovered.
Re-engage our Call Center to deactivate tracking and initiate Recovery Mode.
You will receive a Recovery Mode confirmation email.
Your vehicle is returned to you by law enforcement.
And at any time after you've activated the service, you can reach out to our dedicated Call Center 24/7 through the Ford App — go to Account > Stolen Vehicle Services > Call Us.
The Ford Security Package is included for a year with the purchase of a select 2024 and newer Ford F-150® and Super Duty® trucks (excluding F-150® Lightning®, F-650® and F-750® trucks), the 2026 Expedition® SUV, 2026 Bronco Sport® SUV, and 2026 Mustang Mach-E® SUV from new vehicle warranty start date.
After the first year, pricing starts at $7.99/month. Customers may also order their eligible equipped vehicles with a One-Time Purchase of Ford Security Package for $595. With the purchase of this option, Ford Security Package will be available for a minimum of seven (7) years, and no additional subscription purchase will be required after the seven (7) years to continue service if the service remains available from Ford. Activation after purchase is required to utilize product features.
