Ford Protect ESPs
Ford Protect ESPs cover failure of covered components due to defects in material and workmanship. Normal wear and tear are not included. With covered repairs, you only pay the applicable deductible.

Maintenance Plans
Ford Protect Maintenance Plans cover vehicle maintenance needs.
- Premium and Extra Maintenance Plan: Covers routine inspections and all scheduled maintenance, including the following:
- Engine oil and filter changes
- Multipoint inspections
- Tire rotations
- Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) top-off at normal scheduled service intervals
- All required OEM scheduled maintenance for the specified interval(s)
- Available for normal duty (7,500- and 10,000-mile intervals) or severe duty (5,000-mile interval) vehicle usage
- Replacement of selected wear items, including the following:
- Spark plugs
- Shock absorbers/struts
- Clutch disc
- Engine belts, coolant hoses and clamps
- Brake pads and linings
- Wiper blades
- Limited Maintenance Plan: Covers the following:
- Engine oil and filter changes
- Multipoint inspections
- Tire rotations
- Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) top-off at normal scheduled service intervals
- Basic Maintenance Plan: Covers the following:
