How do I use SYNC with MyFord Touch Ecological Route?

These videos will help explain how to use your SYNC^®* with MyFord Touch® system to get turn-by-turn navigation directions and set your navigation preferences using either voice commands or your SYNC screen.

The ecological route (eco-route) uses roads with consistent speeds and fewer stops to minimize fuel consumption.

The eco-time penalty feature has low, medium, or high settings for the calculated Eco Route. The higher the setting, the longer the time allotment is for the route.

• Low: The system selects an eco-route that would not drastically affect your arrival time from the other route options (Shortest/Fastest).
• Med: The system selects eco-routes that may have a moderate impact on your arrival time by selecting more ecological routes.
• High: The system selects eco-routes that may have a large impact on your arrival time by selecting the most ecological route.

If you have a high eco-route time penalty and select the eco-route, the system will choose the most ecological route and disregard the amount of time it will take to arrive at your destination.
