Yes, there is a one-year included trial for the Ford Connectivity Package from the new-vehicle warranty start date.²⁴

We apologize, but the one-time seven-year package is tied to the vehicle and cannot be refunded. However, if needed, certain features of the package can be toggled off to better suit your preferences.

You will need to renew the Ford Connectivity Package after the included trial ends with either the annual or monthly plan.^†

Monthly and annual plans auto-renew until canceled.^†

You will receive a reminder before your package needs to be renewed if you have authorized auto-renewal with your credit card. The renewal process will be automatic if your payment information is current.

Ford does a preauthorized transaction with your bank when you enter your credit card information. This is shown as a pending transaction for a few days, but you will not be charged.

At the end of the one-year trial, an attempt will be made to process the transaction; if it fails, the plan will be canceled the following day. You will receive an email notification about the payment failure, and you will need to update your payment method and reactivate to continue the service.

1. Log in to your Ford Account and navigate to the Connected Services section from your vehicle dashboard or select the Connected Services tile in the Ford app, which will take you to the website.
2. Choose the tile of the active plan you want to update.
3. Select Update Card and update your card information.

The included trial starts from the new-vehicle warranty start date.

Trial Period

When a vehicle is sold, a factory reset will be completed, and your plan will be canceled within 14 days. The new customer can reauthorize the modem and reactivate the trial for the remainder of the one-year trial duration from the initial new-vehicle warranty start date.

When a vehicle is sold, a factory reset will be completed, and your plan will be canceled within 14 days.

One-Time Purchase

When a vehicle is sold, a factory reset will be completed. The Ford Connectivity Package will still be available on the vehicle for seven years from the new-vehicle warranty start date. The new customer must add the VIN to their Ford app and authorize the modem to gain access to all the features.

If you perform a factory reset, you have 14 days to re-authorize the modem using the Ford app before the trial or plan cancellation.

If you remove the VIN from the Ford app or your Ford Account, the trial or plan will be immediately canceled.

The trial can be activated by the new owner within a year of the new-vehicle warranty start date.

For 2025 model-year Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles, you can still enjoy Connected Navigation for the remaining two years of the three-year complimentary trial included with your purchase, but you will not be able to enjoy and utilize the other services within the Ford Connectivity Package. At year four, you will need to purchase a Ford Connectivity Package monthly or annual plan to continue to enjoy Connected Navigation.
