Ford offers a range of towing and hauling features to help you get the job done – from the construction site to the job site, work or play.

Pro Trailer Backup Assist™

Backing up with a trailer is tricky. But with Pro Trailer Backup Assist, turning in the opposite direction of where your trailer is headed is a pain in the past.

To use this feature:

• Push the Trailer Backup button in your vehicle
• Let go of your steering wheel
• Twist the Trailer Backup knob left or right in the direction you want the trailer to go and the vehicle will steer for you

Just monitor your mirrors and tap the accelerator or brake pedal as needed.*

Trailer Reverse Guidance

It can be hard to get a good view of your trailer from the driver’s seat. To give you some extra help, Trailer Reverse Guidance provides a top-down representation of your vehicle and trailer and up to seven different camera angles for a clear view as you’re backing up.

To use this feature:

• Shift your vehicle into reverse
• Select the camera button on the center console touchscreen

You can use Trailer Reverse Guidance by itself with your steering wheel – or together with Pro Trailer Backup Assist using the Trailer Backup knob.

Smart Hitch

When you load a trailer, it’s important to know how much everything weighs – including the trailer itself. Smart Hitch does the math for you and:

• Displays estimated tongue weight
• Can let you know if the hitch is too heavy or light
• Provides guidance on distributing trailer weight correctly
• Helps you avoid hitch overload

Plus, it even helps guide you through properly tensioning a weight-redistributing hitch.
