2021—2022 Ford F-150® Truck Wiper Motor Safety Recall

Recall Reference Number: 22S71

The safety of you and your passengers is key to every vehicle we build. That is why we’ve issued a recall for some 2021-2022 F-150 trucks. Over the past couple of months, we’ve monitored warranty data that revealed failures of wiper motors in some 2021-2022 F-150 trucks.

If your vehicle is impacted, you will be notified by mail to take it to a Ford Dealer (or Lincoln Retailer) to have the wiper motor replaced once parts are available. You can also see if your F-150 is included by entering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) here.

When you receive notification that parts are available, you can book an appointment online with participating dealers, in your FordPass® App or contact your local Ford Dealer. Your dealer may even be able to send a mobile technician to you, at your convenience.
