To reach the owners of affected vehicles who have not responded to multiple recall notices, Ford has implemented door-to-door canvassing efforts for certain areas and vehicle owners as outlined below.

These Ford representatives are visiting homes to speak with customers about the urgent Takata airbag recall on their vehicle and to help them schedule an appointment with their Ford Dealer for a repair. In some cases, the representative can offer a mobile repair at the customer’s home.

The Ford representatives will be wearing Airbag Recall shirts as seen below. They will also have the Ford Airbag Recall Mobile Repair Team graphic on the side of their vehicle. If a you not home at the time of the visit, they will leave a flyer with direct contact information.
