What are Live Activities for Remote Start in the Ford app?

To use this feature, you must have:

• An iPhone running iOS 16.1 or higher
• Ford app version 6.23 or higher
• An eligible Ford vehicle equipped with Remote Start capability, excluding the 2026 Mustang Mach-E

Live Activities operates automatically during an active remote-start session.

1. Select Remote Start in the Ford app. 
2. View the lock screen and Dynamic Island on the iPhone to monitor the active session without reopening the app. 

3. Check session updates, such as "Starting" or "Vehicle on," and select follow-up actions when available.
