Ford and Duke Energy share the following information:

Vehicle Information

• Vehicle make/model
• Battery size
• In-vehicle charger capacity

Per Session Charging Data

• Plug-in/unplug date and time
• Charge start/end date and time
• Scheduled start charge time
• Maximum charge power
• Energy consumed per charge session 
• Starting/ending state-of-charge
• Charging rate during the charge session
• Event override timestamp (if applicable)
• Calculated avoided energy 
• Location data

To participate, you must: 

• Own or lease a model year 2021 or newer Ford Mustang Mach-E or F-150 Lightning all-electric vehicle. 
• Use a Level 2 charger at home — this can include a mobile charge cord plugged into a 240V outlet or an installed level 2 charger.
• Authorize the vehicle modem.
• Maintain an active modem and connected services setting in their vehicle. 
• Be a Duke Energy residential electricity customer, but not on a Time of Use rate plan.
• Not have solar, a battery, smart water heater, or connected thermostat demand response program installed at your home.
