The backup slot can be found in the console storage compartment, cup holder, or another location depending on the year and model of your vehicle.
Refer to the Starting and Stopping section of your Owner's Manual to find the location specific to your vehicle.
If your intelligent key has no charge or the key frequencies are jammed, you cannot start your vehicle. If this happens, place your key into the backup slot to start the engine.
