Can I view my vehicle's location in the Ford app?

The Vehicle Locate feature allows you to find the location of your parked and activated vehicle.

Once you have added your modem-equipped vehicle to the Ford app and activated it, use the steps below to see your vehicle's location.

Important: Ford Motor Company is not able to track or disable vehicles. We recommend contacting your local police department regarding stolen vehicles.

Locating Your Vehicle

1. Ensure that your mobile device's How do I change the location settings on my phone?.
2. Log in to the Ford app.
3. Navigate to the Vehicle screen.
4. Select Vehicle Location above your vehicle.
   
   Note: You may be asked if you want to use Google Maps or your device's map.

Your vehicle's last detected location address and last updated date and time will appear at the bottom of the page. The map above will show your vehicle represented by a blue tracker. 

Note: To refresh the page, pull down from the top of the screen and release.

Vehicle Location Details 

• Vehicle Location history is not available.
• Vehicle Location is disabled while your vehicle is in motion.
