Work easier, faster, smarter.

Our all-new Super Duty® Chassis Cab is tougher and stronger than ever. It’s also our smartest Super Duty ever, making life for you on the job easier and more comfortable with its redesigned cab, improved suspension, and a host of new productivity features. 2017 Super Duty can also help enhance your bottom line from the outset by helping upfitters get your vehicle body completed and on the job as quickly as possible.
Upfitter Interface Module

Upfitter Interface Module

The electrical system in today’s vehicles is more complex than ever. Even a simple brake light is tied into what is known as the vehicle’s Controller Area Network (CAN). Which is why it’s so important for upfitters to be able to properly and consistently connect their electrical equipment to the CAN busses or ports. 2017 Super Duty® makes this job easier with its available class-exclusive* factory-installed programmable upfitter interface module that allows a direct CAN programmable logic interface to control devices quickly and simply using a laptop or notebook.

All three cab styles longer

All Three Cab Styles Longer

The length of all three cabs — Regular Cab, SuperCab and Crew Cab — has been increased to provide more leg room, while maintaining standard industry cab-to-axle (CA) dimensions. That means more comfort for a taller driver.
Six standard upfitter switches in overhead console

Six Factory-Installed Auxiliary Upfitter Switches

Standard factory-installed auxiliary upfitter switches now total six (up from four). The system includes two 40-amp switches (ignition on or off) plus four 25-amp switches (ignition on). What’s more, the switches with fuses and associated relays are integrated into the new overhead console/storage compartment. Upfitter switches are a convenient way to connect a variety of aftermarket accessories (such as a winch, lights, strobes, 2-way radio) to the vehicle’s electrical system. Because they’re factory-installed, there’s no need to cut into the truck’s electrical system when installing accessories. Convenient, easy to use, and reliable.
Improved ride and steering

Improved Ride and Steering

You’d think at least a few sacrifices would have to be made somewhere in a truck with as many improvements in performance, payload and towing as the all-new Super Duty® Chassis Cab has. A stiffer, less comfortable ride possibly? To the contrary, ride comfort and steering are improved as well, with the all-new fully boxed under-cab steel frame, redesigned C-channel aft-of-cab frame, upgraded suspension components and steering system.
More comfort and convenience than ever

All-New Cab

The Ford Super Duty® is well known for providing excellent comfort over long hours spent at the wheel every workday. It’s a reputation that will certainly grow with the all-new interior of the 2017 model. Standard upfitter switches now total six in an overhead console. There’s available rear under-seat storage in the SuperCab and a fold-flat/locking load floor in the Crew Cab. And among the new available features are a modified sine 110V/400W AC power outlet, Rear View Camera Prep Kit, inflatable rear outboard safety belts (Crew Cab), and enhanced SYNC® 3 connectivity system.
Digital diesel exhaust fluid gauge on instrument panel

DEF Tank Level Gauge (Diesel Engine)

Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) is a nonhazardous solution, 32.5 percent urea and 67.5 percent deionized water. Essential to diesel engine operation, DEF is sprayed into the exhaust stream of vehicles to break down noxious NOx emissions into harmless nitrogen and water. DEF is stored in its own tank with a blue filler cap because it must be kept separate from diesel fuel. Instead of using a warning light on the dash to alert you to DEF running low, 2017 Super Duty® provides a digital gauge that gives you a real-time measurement of how much DEF is stored.
