Various steering controls are available to assist those with limited mobility in safely and confidently maneuvering the road.

• Foot Steering Control: The driver can maneuver the vehicle entirely with their feet.
• Joystick: The steering wheel can be operated with a turn of the wrist.
• Servo Control: Operate steering via an auxiliary motor instead of an individual's hand to reduce strength needed by the driver.
• Reduced Effort Steering: This option assists drivers with limited use of their upper extremities.
• Low Effort Steering: Reduce the effort needed to steer a vehicle by around 40 percent.
• Zero Effort Steering: Standard power steering requires about 40 ounces of effort. This device requires just 6–8 ounces, essentially no effort (may vary based on model and tire size).

These specialized devices attach to the steering wheel for better control, leverage, and ease of handling.

• "Para" Spinner Knob: This knob with an adjustable base can be comfortably gripped with one hand.
• Tri-Pin Spinner Knob: Three prongs fit between the fingers to stabilize the hand and wrist.
• Palm Grip: A larger surface area keeps the hand flat to the steering wheel for better control.
• V-Grip or U-Grip: These hand controls keep the hand upright and in place while driving.
• Quad Grip with Pin: A steel pin with a leather cuff inserts into the spinner base and can be attached horizontally or vertically.

Modified steering wheels and columns assist those with limited mobility, strength, and dexterity.

• Deep Dish Steering Wheel: This option is ideal for those who can’t safely turn a standard-sized steering wheel.
• Horizontal Steering: Enable horizontal movement for drivers with limited mobility with this modified steering column.
• Steering Column Extension: Extend the steering column 2–6 inches to allow drivers in wheelchairs room to steer.

These adaptive driving devices provide support, stability, and control for drivers with mobility issues.

• Amputee Ring: This prosthetic hook fits securely into a ring-shaped device.
• Spinner Cuff: A Velcro® cuff holds the hand securely in place, while a lockable rod on the steering wheel allows for safe steering.
• Quad Steering Cuff or Splint: A specialized cuff or splint secures the wrist or hand horizontally or vertically.

This feature slows the vehicle when pushed toward the floor and accelerates the vehicle when pulled toward the driver.

Push toward the instrument panel to slow the vehicle, and pull downward at a right angle to accelerate.

Twist to accelerate the vehicle, and push toward the floor to slow the vehicle.

This option consists of an extra L-shaped bracket attached to the hand controls.

Push forward to slow the vehicle, and rotate backward to accelerate.
