    FORD POWER-UP SOFTWARE UPDATES

    Many Ford Power-Up software updates will be virtually invisible to customers, enabled by a tech platform that installs much of the new software in the background. Many updates require little to no action by the customers, enabled by SYNC® 4.27 It’s technology that keeps current software running until the new version is ready to go.

    CLOUD-BASED CONNECTIVITY

    By integrating cloud-based connectivity and conversational voice recognition, SYNC® 427 delivers comprehensive search results and more functionality for customers, including cloud-connected optional navigation, a digital Owner’s Manual and wireless access to Apple CarPlay®*161 and Android Auto™161 compatibility.

    FORD PRO™ VEHICLE INTEGRATION SYSTEM 2.0

    This feature simplifies the upfit process by providing vehicle data while eliminating the need for 3rd party hardware. This means that things like light bars and salt spreaders etc. can now be directly connected and controlled from the SYNC® screen.

    SIX FACTORY-INSTALLED AUXILIARY UPFITTER SWITCHES

    Six standard factory-installed auxiliary upfitter switches include two 40-amp switches (ignition on or off) plus four 25-amp switches (ignition on). What’s more, the switches with fuses and associated relays are integrated into the overhead console/storage compartment. Upfitter switches are a convenient way to connect a variety of aftermarket accessories (such as a winch, lights, strobes, two-way radio) to the vehicle’s electrical system. Because they’re factory-installed, there’s no need to cut into the truck’s electrical system when installing accessories. Convenient, easy to use and reliable. Standard on all Chassis Cabs.

    THREE SPACIOUS CAB STYLES

    The Ford Super Duty® Chassis Cab trucks are well known for providing excellent comfort over long hours spent at the wheel every workday. Choose the Super Duty cab style that fits your needs: From the Regular Cab to the larger SuperCab to the spacious four-door Crew Cab model, all Super Duty cab styles provide an excellent balance of convenience and comfort. Additional benefits include available rear under-seat storage and easy-access barn-style doors in the SuperCab and a fold-flat/locking load floor in the Crew Cab. SuperCab and Crew Cab models not available with the F-600.®

    CONNECTED BUILT-IN NAVIGATION (THREE YEARS OF SERVICE)

    Available Connected Built-in Navigation (three years of service) is fully connected to and informed by internet-based data with maps that are frequently refreshed with the latest traffic and construction information, ensuring customers are getting up-to-date info for their routes.12 Optional Connected Built-In Navigation also has the ability to share Yelp reviews with customers, as well as parking space availability and prices. SYNC 4 can understand conversational requests, such as “Find me the best burger place” and offer data-based suggestions to drivers.

    CHASSIS CAB INFORMATION

    The XL and XLT have a standard 4.2" LCD productivity screen, while LARIAT® gets a 12" LCD productivity screen. It puts valuable information on a wide variety of vehicle functions in front of you, with up to seven screens readily available through My View (standard on LARIAT®). Among them is a screen displaying towing functions, such as trailer brake controller and transmission tow/haul settings, vehicle pitch and steering angle, and profiles of up to 10 trailers.
