What are Field Service Actions?

There are different types of Field Service Action programs, including recall programs and Customer Satisfaction Programs.

Recall Programs

A recall is conducted to remedy a safety, compliance, or emissions concern. Recalls are Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)-specific programs. There are no expiration dates on Safety Recalls or Safety Compliance Recalls. Also, there are generally no expiration dates on Emission Recalls or Emission Compliance Recalls.

Customer Satisfaction Programs

A Customer Satisfaction Program is an available upgrade to a specific component or an extension of an existing warranty. Customer Satisfaction Programs are VIN-specific programs. Time and mileage limitations do apply.

Note: To find out if your vehicle is included in a recall, visit ford.com/support and enter your VIN. You can also log in to the FordPass®* App to check for recall alerts. If your vehicle is included in a recall, contact your Ford Dealer to have your vehicle serviced.
