The 2023 Super Duty® Chassis Cab is designed with upfitting in mind, with an open C-channel frame aft-of cab featuring a standard 34-inch frame-rail width. With the Super Duty Chassis Cab frame and body, you can work hard and work smart with aft-of-axle frame extensions for outstanding configuration flexibility, a factory-installed, Ford Pro™ Vehicle Integration System 2.0 for ease of upfitting and six auxiliary upfitter switches located overhead in the cab to help operate a variety of powered options.

    FIRE/RESCUE PREP PACKAGE W/ EPA SPECIAL EMISSIONS

    The Fire/Rescue Prep Package* requires a 6.7L Power Stroke® Diesel engine (99T) and includes:


    • 410 Amp Dual alternators
    • Upgraded Front Springs/GAWR rating for configuration selected

    AMBULANCE PREP PACKAGE

    The Ambulance Prep Package* Requires a 6.7 Power Stroke® Diesel engine (99T) or a 7.3L Gas engine (99N) and includes:


    • 410 Amp Dual alternator
    • Upgraded Front Springs/GAWR rating for configuration selected
    • 5250 to 5990 lbs. Max Front Springs/Front GAWR(F-350)
    • 4.10 Limited-slip “Wide Track” axle included with F-350® DRW

    CNG/PROPANE GASEOUS ENGINE PREP PACKAGE 7.3L

    Compressed natural gas (CNG) and propane are advanced fuel options to unleaded gasoline, with the CNG/Propane Gaseous Engine Prep Package available on the 7.3L gas V8 and requires the regular cab. * What’s more, the CNG/Propane Package with the addition of the necessary upfits for bi-fuel capability enables the 7.3L V8 to run on either liquified propane gas or unleaded gas.

    *Optional on all XL and XLT F-450,® F-550® and F-600.®

    POWER TAKEOFF (PTO)

    The Power Takeoff (PTO) Provision lets you power an aftermarket pump, compressor or other accessory. The PTO is standard across the entire engine lineup. An output gear connects directly to the engine crankshaft to power your PTO anytime the engine is running. Whether the truck is in motion or stopped. Another big feature is “split-shaft” capability (diesel only) that allows multiple accessories to operate at the same time when the truck is stopped.

    PAYLOAD PACKAGES

    The 2023 Super Duty® Chassis Cab has three Payload Packages to choose from to get the job done. They include the Downgrade Package, the Upgrade Package and the Plus Upgrade Package.

    STRONG TOWING

    When the job calls for towing huge loads, the Super Duty® Chassis Cab lets you do just that, thanks to the heavier and stronger frame, components and driveline of today’s generation of the Ford Super Duty. The 2023 Super Duty® Chassis Cab features impressive towing capability and offers an available Trailer Tow Package - High-Capacity.

    ADVANCETRAC™ WITH RSC® (ROLL STABILITY CONTROL™) AND TRAILER SWAY CONTROL

    The Super Duty® Chassis Cab model comes with standard AdvanceTrac with RSC (Roll Stability Control) and trailer sway control. AdvanceTrac and RSC use gyroscopic sensors and apply a combination of reduced engine power and selective wheel braking to help maintain control of the vehicle and the trailer in tow.39

    ENGINE IDLE SHUTDOWN

    The system automatically shuts down your engine when it has been idling in Park or Neutral. This feature is customizable to the time intervals that best suit your vehicle fleet needs. You can access this feature through your SYNC®427 screen or your vehicle cluster screen.
