TWO GREAT ENGINES. AND NEW 10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION.

We now offer two ways to power your business. Our new standard 3.5L PFDI V6 engine and available upgraded 3.5L ECOBOOST® V6. But we didn’t stop there. Partner either of them with a new 10-speed automatic transmission and you’ve got a vehicle that’s more than capable for the job ahead.

ALL-WHEEL DRIVE

The new available All-Wheel-Drive System is not only designed to enhance handling and maximize traction. It was integrated into the vehicle’s design to ensure it didn’t raise the load floor or seat height, making it as easy to enter and exit as our standard model. Great news for drivers who are in and out of their vehicles a lot during the work day.

RANGE OF GVW AND PAYLOAD RATINGS

Configure a Transit to match your business needs across a wide range of gross vehicle weight and payload ratings in single- and dual-rear-wheel models. GVWRs range from 8,670 lbs. to 10,360 lbs. Maximum payloads less body weight are 2,640 lbs. and 4,530 lbs.

TESTED AND BUILT FORD TOUGH®

We conducted testing on roads and highways across America, at temperature extremes from –40 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. We also used trucks driven by robots at our Michigan Proving Grounds facility, allowing us to compress years of daily abuse into a mere few months. Our objective: Enable Transit to take on the toughest challenges encountered on your everyday jobs.
