Audio Controls

You can use the steering wheel controls to adjust the volume and seek up and down. Press the seek up or down button to tune the radio to the next or previous stored preset, or to play the next or previous track. You can press and hold a seek button to tune the radio to the next station up or down the frequency band, or to seek or fast forward through a track. 

Voice Control

Press the voice button on your steering wheel to use the voice commands with your SYNC 3 system. You can use these voice commands to control your cell phone, settings or navigation. For more information, see the SYNC 3 information in your Owner’s Manual.

Cruise Control

To set the speed:

1. Press and release ON.

2. Accelerate to the speed you desire.

3. Toggle SET+ or SET- and take your foot off the accelerator. To set a higher or lower speed, toggle and hold SET+ or SET– until you reach the speed you desire. To cancel a set speed, press and release CAN or tap the brake pedal.

To return to a previously set speed, press RES.

To switch off, press OFF or switch the ignition off.

Lighting Controls

The primary lighting control is located on the lower left side of the instrument panel.  This lighting control allows you to switch on or off the parking lamps, instrument panel lamps, license plate lamps, rear lamps and the headlamps. The button on the steering wheel controls the high beams. Press and hold the button to switch the high beams on. Press and hold the button again to switch the high beams off. To flash your high beams, press the button briefly.

Rear Fog Lamps (if equipped)

Press the rear fog lamp button to switch the fog lamps on or off. You can only switch the rear fog lamps on when the low beam headlamps are on.

Note: If you switch autolamps on, you can only switch the fog lamps on when the headlamps are on.

Direction Indicators

The direction indicator buttons are on the steering wheel. Press the button you desire to use. Press the button briefly to flash the indicator three times.  A longer press will turn on that direction indicator.

Windshield Wipers and Washers

Rotate the knob on the right side of the steering wheel to operate the windshield wipers. To use the windshield washer, press and hold the button on the upper right of the steering wheel to spray windshield washer fluid and activate the wipers. When you release the button, the wipers operate for three additional wipes and then turn off.

Information Display Controls

Press the Return arrow button to enter the menu system.

Press the Up and Down arrow buttons to scroll through and highlight the options within a menu.

Press the OK button to enter a sub-menu or to choose and confirm settings or messages.

Press the Return arrow button to exit a menu.

Some features can be switched on or off by pressing the OK button.
