Why isn't the SYNC®* activation authorization prompt displaying in my Mustang Mach-E?

As a Mustang Mach-E owner, you may experience an issue with your SYNC in-vehicle activation authorization prompt not displaying.
The issue affects Mustang Mach-E vehicles equipped with SYNC software version revision 243.
If you are experiencing this issue, please use the steps below for correction:
  1. Disable the Connected Vehicle Feature setting Share Vehicle Data in the SYNC system.
    1. Tap the Vehicle image on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Tap Connectivity.
    4. Press Connected Vehicle Features.
    5. Toggle Vehicle Connectivity to OFF.
  2. Perform a Key Cycle.
  3. Wait for the in-vehicle screen to fully load.
  4. After a couple of minutes, the activation prompt should appear on the in-vehicle screen.
  5. Select Yes to confirm the activation for the FordPass™** account mentioned in the pop-up.
    • Note: If you choose No on the prompt, be sure to go back and enable the Share Vehicle Data option that you disabled in Step 1.
