Why am I unable to contact a Guide?

If you've received a message that the app is experiencing technical issues, attempt the troubleshooting steps:

  1. Please try again in a few minutes.
  2. Check your cellular strength and or Wi-Fi connection.
    • Wi-Fi connection 
      • If Wi-Fi is turned off, turn Wi-Fi on and attempt to connect.
      • If Wi-Fi is turned on, turn Wi-Fi off and attempt to connect using cellular data.
    • Cellular connection 
      • If cellular data is turned off, turn cellular data on and attempt to connect.
      • If cellular data is turned on, turn cellular data off and attempt to connect using Wi-Fi.
  3. Log out of the app and log back in.

If you are still unable to connect:

  1. Go to https://owner.ford.com/fordpass.com.
  2. Log in with your FordPass® credentials.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select the chat icon.
