What are Milestones, and how do I earn them?

Milestones are awarded for actions taken by you that count towards achieving higher Membership Tiers. As you achieve higher Tiers, you receive additional benefits. Milestones are earned through vehicle purchases, service visits, and the FordPass Rewards Visa®** card. Milestones are calculated separately from Points. One qualifying activity may earn both Points and Milestones.

What is the difference between FordPass Rewards Points and Milestones?

Rewards Points are redeemed towards purchases, whereas Milestones are earned to achieve different Tiers and their benefits. Some activities earn both Points and Milestones, however, they are different currencies with different expiration dates. Some Milestones roll over, while Points expire after 365 days of inactivity. Milestones have no redemption value; they are accumulated to achieve status. 

How long does it take for Milestones to appear in my account?

Milestone activity should be awarded within the same time frame as associated Points (30 days for Sales, 10 days for Service).

Do Milestones expire?

Some Milestones will expire at the end of the calendar year in which they are earned, while other Milestones will carry over every year for three additional years. See the list below for details:

  • Valid for current qualification year plus three additional qualification years
    • Buying or leasing a new Ford vehicle***
    • Purchasing a Ford Blue Advantage vehicle****
  • Valid for current qualification year only
    • Bringing a vehicle in for Ford Service
    • Being an active FordPass Rewards Visa cardholder
    • Spending $3,000 with the FordPass Rewards Visa Card

Are Milestones transferrable?

Milestones and Points can only be transferred from one account to another if both accounts belong to the same Member. 

Where will Tier, Milestone, and Points balances be found?

The FordPass Rewards Tiers landing page will provide detailed information. Members will be able to check their Tier, Milestone, and Point balance within FordPass Rewards on Ford.com/support.

What if I do not receive my Milestones for an eligible activity? 

The Rewards Center can assist with any member account concerns related to missing Milestones. You can call 833-385-0516 for assistance.
