How long will it take an electric vehicle (EV) to charge at home?
The Ford Mobile Power Cord enables easy charging on a 120V outlet, where charging will be slow and steady at around 3 miles of range per charging hour (95 hours to charge to full) and is meant for EV drivers with lots of time in between trips. For 240V charging, your EV can charge at a faster rate of 20 miles of range per charging hour (15 hours to charge to full). The Ford Connected Charge Station can charge from 0-100% in just over 10 hours (28 miles of charge per hour). The Single-Phase Ford Connected Charge Station charges up to 25 miles per hour, while the Three-Phase version charges up to 36 miles of charge per hour.
What are the benefits of the Ford Connected Charge Station?
You can easily charge at home overnight, getting 30 miles of charge per hour while also managing your charge station through the FordPass®* App. This means fully monitoring and controlling the charging process wherever you are. Full functionality and all connectivity features will be revealed soon.
What about additional discounts and incentives for installing a Ford Connected Charge Station?
On top of all the benefits, there is also the possibility of additional discounts. Check with your utility provider to determine if there are any incentives for installing a Ford Connected Charge Station.
