      Need high capability and performance for basic delivery applications? Look no further than the E-350 Stripped Chassis. The E-350 offers two wheelbases and GVWRs, as well as a choice of the standard 7.3L V8 or an optional 7.3L V8 Economy-rated engine.

      The 2022 E-450 Stripped Chassis is built for heavy-duty delivery, with two GVWRs available in the 14,000-lb. range as well as a choice of the standard 7.3L V8 engine or 7.3L V8 Economy-rated engine.

    The E-Series Stripped Chassis offers two unique engine calibrations to get your business moving – the standard 7.3L V8 Premium-rated engine and the available 7.3L Economy-rated engine. Both are paired with a six-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission and offer upwards of 445 cubic inches of displacement for impressive power. Plus, the flex fuel E-85 capability package is now available for both engine ratings.

      7.3L PREMIUM-RATED ENGINE

      The workhorse behind the Ford Stripped Chassis. This standard engine is paired with a TorqShift® 6-speed automatic transmission for a substantial 350 horsepower and 468 lb.-ft. torque rating, while maintaining a low 3,900 rpm on E-Series models. The Ford-built 7.3L V8 gas engine generates the raw power and durability required for the heavy-duty applications typical of a Ford Stripped Chassis.

      7.3L V8 ECONOMY-RATED ENGINE

      Choosing your engine is about finding the right-sizing for your job and getting the maximum efficiency possible. This engine is for those who value fuel economy and don't need the extra muscle. With the Economy-rated engine calibration, the 7.3L V8 is rated at 300 horsepower and 425 lb.-ft. of torque. Available with the 2022 E-350/E-450 Stripped Chassis, this heavy-duty engine also features single overhead-cam design and dual-equal variable-cam timing that optimize power across the entire power band.

      TORQSHIFT® SELECTSHIFT® 6-SPEED WITH TOW/HAUL MODE

      The Ford TorqShift® SelectShift® 6-speed automatic transmission is designed for rugged commercial-duty applications. The SelectShift feature includes progressive range select (for overdrive lockout) plus full manual. And the Tow/Haul mode automatically compensates for grade and load conditions, delaying transmission upshifts to help reduce the frequency of gear hunting.

    HILL START ASSIST

    Standard on the 2022 E-350 and 2022 E-450 Stripped Chassis, hill start assist can help you switch from brake to gas without rolling backward. The system automatically works with the anti-lock brakes to hold the vehicle in place for up to two seconds while you transition your foot from the brake to the accelerator.

    TRACTION CONTROL

    Standard on the 2022 E-350 and 2022 E-450 Stripped Chassis, traction control helps maintain your vehicle's grip on the road in unfavorable weather conditions. When the system senses a loss of traction, it applies selective braking in order to keep your wheels from excessively spinning and help maintain traction.39

    ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL

    Electronic stability control (ESC) helps keep you and your business firmly on the road, even in rough conditions. Using information from steering wheel and acceleration sensors, ESC can sense when you start to lose control or traction. When the system senses a loss of traction, it automatically applies selective braking to help prevent your vehicle from sliding sideways and skidding.39  Standard on the 2022 E-350 and 2022 E-450 Stripped Chassis.

    Under Section 168(k) of the IRS Tax Code, many businesses that invest in new equipment, including qualifying new vehicles, can potentially deduct a maximum of the entire purchase cost, of one or more business vehicles, on their IRS tax returns. * Qualifying Ford commercial vehicles include Ford Transit, E-Series, F-150, F-250/350/450/550/600 Super Duty® , F-650/750 Medium Duty and Stripped Chassis. * For more information, visit IRS.gov and contact your tax professional. 
    *Under Bonus Depreciation in Section 168(k) of the Internal Revenue Code, companies may be eligible to fully expense the cost of trucks, vans and SUVs rated over 6,000 lbs. GVWR, when purchased for business use. Trucks and vans that are considered passenger vehicles, rated under 6,000 lbs. GVWR, are limited to $18,100 of depreciation in the year of purchase with normal MACRS depreciation on the remaining basis in the vehicle in subsequent years. A vehicle is not considered a passenger vehicle, and is thus not limited to the lower depreciation amounts, if it is considered a “qualified non-personal use vehicle.” Qualified non-personal use vehicles are vehicles that, by virtue of their nature or design, are not likely to be used more than a de minimis amount for personal purposes. Examples of qualified non-personal use vehicles include 1) a vehicle that can seat nine-plus passengers behind the driver’s seat, 2) a heavy non-SUV vehicle with a cargo area of at least six feet in interior length or 3) a vehicle with a fully enclosed driver’s compartment/cargo area, no seating behind the driver’s seat, and no body section protruding more than 30 inches ahead of the leading edge of the windshield.
