An awesome 660 lb.-ft. of torque and 300 horsepower. Excellent fuel efficiency to go with all that power. B20-capability. Clean and quiet operation. That's the Ford-built 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel. The Power Stroke features a graphite iron engine block that is stronger yet lighter than cast iron. Aluminum cylinder heads with precision dual water jackets reduce weight and improve cooling. Inboard exhaust and outboard air induction architecture helps reduce turbo lag. And speaking of turbochargers, a compact, efficient design is used that helps deliver power quickly. Another great feature is the high-pressure common-rail induction system which, operating at nearly 30,000 psi, delivers up to five injections per combustion cycle for optimum throttle response and fuel efficiency, as well as reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). What's more, the Power Stroke is equipped with instant-start glow plugs for quick start-ups, even at extremely low temperatures.

These systems may become damaged in a crash. The paired mobile phone must be connected to SYNC, and the 911 Assist feature enabled, in order for 911 to be dialed. When the feature is ON, 911 Assist uses your paired and connected mobile phone to assist occupants to contact emergency services by dialing 911 if your airbag deploys or, on certain vehicles, if the emergency fuel pump shut-off is activated.
